Narsiso Martinez
Narsiso Martinez's artwork takes an introspective look into the experience of being a migrant farm worker. Working seasonally at an apple orchard to fund his education, Martinez pulls from his own experience and the experience of other migrant workers to create a collection of mixed media works honoring these important workers. He depicts the endeavors of farm labor on discarded produce boxes, while blending the intimate and strenuous profiles of farm workers with eloquent agricultural scenes.
